There are certain rules for carrying the hand baggage in the Air Arabia aircraft. The standard size baggage should not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and this total size includes the bag’s handle, pockets and the wheels.

Every passenger can carry one hand baggage in the flight cabin. Passengers with infants can carry an extra bag of the above dimension free. The airline permits the same to carry the infant’s food and the other items that the baby may need during the flight.

All liquids, gels and pastes should fit into a 100 ml bottle each. The passengers should place these bottles in a plastic bag of 1 litre, which measures 20 cm x 20 cm. When it comes to the checked-in baggage, the total length, width and the breadth of the baggage should not exceed 160 centimetres. If a passenger carries any over-sized baggage, the airline has the authority to decline the request to transport the baggage.

The airline does not allow a free baggage check-in. The passengers can ask for a baggage allowance in advance. They can request for extra baggage while reserving a ticket online, through the call centre or at the travel’s agents offices. Added to this is the fact that they will get the allowance at discounted rates.

The passengers traveling on Air Arabia aircraft cannot carry any flammable items, poisonous substances, firearms, matches and cigarette lighters, batteries and other corrosive items and cooking oils in their hand carry bag or the checked in luggage.
